In honor of Brain Tumor Awareness month we would like to share a few facts with all of you about how many people are potentially affected by brain tumors every year. Leading doctors say that nearly 80,000 new cases of primary brain tumors are expected to be diagnosed this year. Approximately one-third or 32% of brain and CNS tumors are malignant. This includes more than 25,000 primary malignant and 53,000 non-malignant brain tumors. The follow are some signs and symptoms of and affected brain tumor:
Headaches, Seizures, Memory loss, Depression, Mood swings, Personality changes, Cognitive changes, and Fatigue.
Be aware of the signs and if you are worried about you or a loved one go and get checked, it cant do any harm but maybe it will do some good in preventing more damage to you or the ones around you.
